Spica Marketing: About Us
Spica Marketing Pvt Ltd was founded by Siddharth Varma in October 2015. Spica Marketing seeks to address underserved markets in India by introducing global brands that have a clear point of view on quality, sustainability and authenticity.
Siddharth Varma was the Asia Franchise Managing Director for a multi-brand fast-food chain from 2010-13, overseeing its business in 13 countries--including Japan, Korea and Indonesia,
Prior to quick-service restaurants, Siddharth spent 12 years with a US sportswear brand, joining as part of the India start-up team. He was Managing Director India from 1999-2003, before holding marketing roles in Europe and Asia Pacific, and then becoming President of their Japan business.
Siddharth holds a B.Tech. in Engineering from IIT (BHU).
Partner - Business Development
Pankaj Verma started his career at a US sportswear brand in 2000 and was then responsible for establishing its retail presence and expanding its sales and distribution network in North India.
He started a retail business in India in 2013, opening and operating his own retail outlets in his geography of focus: North India.
Pankaj holds a Post-Graduate degree in Management.
Partner - Operations & Ecommerce
Vijit oversees commercial and retail operations for Spica with an emphasis on Canterbury and Newton Running.
After doing a Masters in International Business from Rhode Island, he spent 14 years mastering modern retail in the Middle East and more recently India.
Digital Marketing & E-commerce
Vishay manages the digital marketing, social media and Amazon channel for Spica Marketing
He has more than 10 years of experience working with FMCG, E-commerce and his own startup post his MBA in Marketing from SIBM, Pune
